Shipping Policy Page

At TOV Furniture, we prioritize delivery just as much as design. We take pride in offering a service that is prompt, cost-effective, and communicative. Take a look below for a detailed overview of the shipping options we offer.

**Disclaimer: Orders shipping to remote or less populous locations outside of our standard service area in North America are subject to additional shipping fees. In this event well reach out to you for your approval 

Free Basic Shipping 

We offer free basic shipping on all orders over $299. We use a variety of special furniture carriers.  For smaller items we will either ship with Fedex ground or arrange a Doorstep delivery with a special furniture carrier. We will provide tracking numbers as soon as your purchase leaves the warehouse. Smaller items will not be scheduled for delivery. For larger items and bulk orders, we use special furniture LTL carriers who will schedule a delivery window with you prior to delivery. to ensure your big delivery is handled with extra care and for you to have the ability to schedule a delivery. 

Doorstep - dining tables and beds 150 lbs per box

This service level provides:

  • Delivery to the Front doorstep on the ground floor or entrance area of the customer's home where the delivery can be safely placed.

  • No Appointment scheduling for smaller items

  • Appointments will be scheduled for larger items

  • No unpacking

  • No Signature required


In-room shipping includes a two-person delivery team that will deliver your order to the room of your choice for all qualifying products. This is an excellent option if you need some help moving big pieces of furniture or living in an apartment. Your order will be delivered with a specialized furniture carrier and includes appointment scheduling options before delivery. 

Here’s what to expect from our $69 in Home Delivery Service 

  • We’ll bring your order beyond the doorstep and into whatever room you’d like up to 2 flights of stairs 

  • While we don’t unbox the item we will not remove any cartons

  • Carrier will contact you via email and phone to schedule and confirm delivery

  • On delivery day, you’ll receive a notification when our team is approximately 30 minutes away

  • We’ll require your signature to confirm the delivery

  • If you have any thoughts of returning, you will be required to work with carrier to keep the boxes


 $149. Get your order delivered to the room of your choice and fully assembled by a two-person delivery team. This is great for busy people or those who hate putting together furniture. Your order will be delivered with a specialized furniture carrier and includes appointment scheduling options before delivery. Please note that while our delivery team will always do their best to help, they do not remove packaging, just in case you decide to return or exchange your product. 

By selecting an upgraded delivery service, TOV may choose to only arrange one delivery once all the items on your order become available. If requested, we can arrange a second shipment for an additional cost. Please get in touch with us if this is something you would like to do.

This service level provides:

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Unpacking at customer's home

  • Placement of furniture in room of choice

  • Up to Two flights of stairs

  •  Removal of debris however if you want the options to return it is customers responsibility to work with carrier on keeping packaging

  • Signature required

  • While our delivery teams are very handy, they don’t install items that will permanently modify your space (such as anti-tipping hardware or securing any items to your walls or mirrors, hanging art,lighting ). General Information Regarding Deliveries:

  • Most orders take 24-48 hours to process and ship out of our fulfillment centers.

  • All delivery dates are estimates and actual delivery times may vary or be subject to change.

  • Transit times for freight (LTL) orders: Estimated 7-15 business days in transit

  • Transit times for small parcel items: Estimated 5-7 business days in transit

  • All LTL deliveries are THRESHOLD, meaning that the LTL freight carrier will deliver to the front entrance of your house/building. 

  • Freight company will make every effort to call and schedule the delivery in advance. 

  • Orders that customers request be held at the freight company's facility due to prolonged unavailability may be subject to storage charges. 

  • Redelivery fees 

Delivery Services at checkout: 

Delivered to the outside entrance of your home or ground level of your building. 


A specialized furniture carrier will bring the item into your preferred room. This does not include unboxing or assembly. 


A specialized furniture carrier will arrange for a deluxe delivery experience by bringing the item into your preferred room, unpack and assemble.

General Information Regarding Deliveries:

Shipping Beyond Our Standard Service Area

We strive to offer affordable and competitive delivery options for everyone who shops with us. Our shipping rates apply to our standard service area in the 48 contiguous United states. 

Some remote areas are beyond our Standard Service Area that our carriers do not service. Orders shipping to remote or less populous locations outside of our standard service area may be subject to additional shipping fees.This will be determined at the time we are processing your shipment. TOV will provide the shipping cost for your approval before processing the order in these instances.

At this time, we do not ship to Puerto Rico or Canada.

Certificate of Insurance

If your building requires a Certificate of Insurance for delivery, we can help set one up for you once your order is placed. Please email us at [email protected] with a template from your building management as many buildings may require a specific format. If you don’t have a template, you can simply provide the name, address, and the dollar amount you would like on the COI.

Local Delivery Partners

If your account shows your order is with a local delivery partner, they should be reaching out to you in approximately two business days to schedule the delivery. If you haven’t heard from them after this time, feel free contact us and we’ll follow up on your behalf or provide you with their direct contact number.

Refused Delivery

Please let us know if you have refused your order at the time of delivery, and we’ll be happy to process an exchange for another item that suits your space better. In this case, we won’t charge additional shipping fees, and will simply charge or refund you any difference in price between the products. 

Otherwise, refused orders will be processed as a return. Once the item is returned to our warehouse, you'll be issued a refund of the item's price, less a return shipping cost of $49. Your initial shipping fee will not be refunded as the delivery was serviced. If we don’t receive notice of a refused delivery from you, there could be a delay in issuing the refund.

If the item was refused due to damage or defect, please send us photos so we can review and resolve the issue.

Estimated Delivery Windows

We are not able to guarantee exact delivery dates for our orders. However, we do provide delivery estimates based on stock levels and anticipated shipping routes. This information is 


Split Deliveries

If your order contains several items, we will ship as the items become available to ship unless you paid for a shipping upgrade.. 

If any products in your order are on backorder, they may delay the rest of your delivery. If there is at least a 2 week  difference between the end of the first estimated delivery window and the second estimated delivery window,  we will split the deliveries for free. In all other cases, separate shipping fees will be charged if you choose to have separate deliveries.

Please note that if you live outside of our standard shipping area, additional shipping charges may apply. 

We may choose to split smaller items which will be shipped separately via courier, which may mean you'll receive them sooner than other pieces in your order. Please visit your Dashboard to track your order status.

Out of Stock

If an item is out of stock and has no ETA, you can place the order today so you are placed first in line. Or  sign up to be notified when it becomes available again. 

Order Holds

If you’d like to receive your order at a later date than in the estimated delivery window, you can add delivery instructions at checkout or reach out to our Care team. Please include the date you’d like your delivery, and we’ll place a temporary hold on your order. We can hold items for up to 30 days.

Delivery Date Requests

While we’re unable to guarantee a specific delivery date at the time you place your order. The carrier will do their best to accommodate this if the item arrives at their facility in time.

Delivery appointment availability varies depending on the local delivery partner in your area. You will only be able to make an appointment once the order is at the local delivery partner’s facility, so we cannot guarantee a specific day at the time of placing your order. However, deliveries are generally made on weekdays between 9am and 5pm. The delivery partner in your area may be able to accommodate deliveries outside this time, so feel free to inquire when they contact you to arrange a delivery date.

You’ll receive updates along the way as your order is processed and shipped from our local warehouse.

Haul-Away Services

We currently don’t offer haul-away services for old or used furniture

Shipping + Delivery FAQ

The first day of my ETA window has passed. Why haven’t I heard anything about my delivery?

We’ll reach out to you via text and email to share the delivery date and arrival window as soon as your order is ready. It is common to receive your delivery schedule within your ETA window.

My order hasn’t progressed from Processing status. Is there something wrong?

Your order will be marked as “Processing” until it reaches a fulfillment center close to your delivery address. Its status will then be updated as it makes its way to you. 

If your order is coming from overseas, it can take up to several weeks to arrive at the fulfillment center. During this time, it will remain in Processing status.

How can I make sure my delivery goes smoothly?

We’re so glad you asked! We’ve put together a detailed guide to measuring for delivery to help you prepare for the big day.

What do the order statuses mean?

  • Processing: We’ve confirmed your order and are processing your item(s). Please note that products with a longer ETA may be coming from overseas, and will often stay in Processing status for weeks while they make their journey. We’ll always make sure to factor this time into the ETA window.

  • In Transit: Your item is making its way to a delivery station near you. You will receive an email or text when your delivery is ready to schedule. It’s common to receive your delivery schedule within your ETA window, so not to worry if you’re in your ETA window and haven’t received a delivery date yet.

  • Delivered: Congrats on the new addition to your home!

Scheduling Your Delivery

Once your order is ready for delivery, we’ll be in touch to let you know when it will arrive and what to expect on delivery day. Our team will always determine a set date and time to bring you your new furniture, so don’t worry about any surprises. 

Smaller items are often sent via courier. These deliveries are not scheduled in advance, but we will share tracking information so you know when to expect their arrival.

Delivery Day

Expecting a delivery? Here’s what to do to prepare for the big day:

  • Ensure that the area where you plan to put your new item(s) is clear and there is enough room for assembly

  • You will receive a notification on the day of delivery when the team is approximately 30 minutes away

  • If you live in an apartment building, check if you need a Certificate of Insurance for deliveries in advance

  • With front door delivery, we’ll bring the boxes to your front door. If you live in a multi-unit apartment building that is restricting access to non-residents, our team will deliver to the closest point to your home that they're safely able to. If you live in a walk-up apartment, please let us know in advance.

  • For In-Room and In-Room + Assembly deliveries, our team will enter your home masked (if requested) and will wear  protective slipcovers on their shoes

Unboxing and Box Removal

To avoid repackaging fees in the event you'd like to exchange or return your item(s), our delivery teams will not dispose of the boxes. Until you're certain your Article piece is right for you, make sure you flatten your boxes and store them away. Our repackaging fee is $50 per item.
